The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is the primary intergovernmental body tasked with promoting and protecting human rights globally. It addresses situations of human rights violations and makes recommendations to improve human rights conditions in UN member states. Through resolutions and investigations, the UNHRC aims to hold countries accountable for upholding fundamental human rights for all.
